"You should do"
Why?
Because people don't like being told what to do.
Instead of trying to tell someone what they should do, you're telling them what YOU would do IF you were in their position.
It's a minor difference but leads to MASSIVELY different results when trying to influence other people.
PS - if you've read this far, notice how I said "I use" to start off the post, instead of just saying "You should use". If you got this far, it's proof that this minor difference in wording does make a difference.
