For starters, you focus on them, NOT you.

For example, an average financial rep uses words like:

• “MY company”

• ”OUR product”

• ”OUR clients”

• ”WE do X”

But a successful financial rep uses words like:

• “Do YOU experience X problem? If so, how so?”

• “Can YOU tell me about X?”

• ”How has X problem affected YOU?”

It’s about them.
