If so, use the below script BEFORE scheduling an intro call:
"Before we set up a time to talk, is there anyone else who you think should be on the call?
Sometimes I have a GREAT intro call with someone, but their spouse/partner isn't on board after the call (since they didn't attend the call with us), so I want to make sure there isn't extra "friction" down the road. Let me know what you think about anyone, in particular, joining us!"
This way, you can get the other "silent" decision maker INVOLVED in the sales process from the BEGINNING rather than try to include them at the end.
